In this session we will see how we can utilize ChatGPT as a planning resource for designing science lessons and assessment items which are anchored in real-world, engaging phenomena and aligned to the NC Science Standards for grades 3-12. While we look at examples of ways we can use ChatGPT as a planning tool for science, we will learn some pointers about how to be strategic in constructing prompts for ChatGPT and how to be critical in assessing its responses.
